Previously trading as MTU Detroit Diesel Australia, Penske Power Systems
provides a comprehensive range of products for mining applications
ranging from 30 to 3,000 kW. We specialise in the design and installation of

support of engines for mining trucks, excavators, drilling equipment, pump
sets, lighting towers and generators.

The Series 2000 and 60 engine is installed in a wide range of drills, trucks
and loaders, whilst the Mercedes OM range has more recently been
installed in underground drill rigs, utility vehicles and most recently
underground loaders. With average surface mining engines operating for
6000 hours per year, Penske Power Systems has set itself apart from other
engine distributors by developing technology to allow engines to meet all
emission requirements and deliver the best fuel efficiency. These features
are why our MTU engines are so successful in off-highway applications.
