Caltex Marketing encompasses a range of downstream activities from retail
service station operations to equity and non-equity resellers, and direct
sales to corporate customers.
Caltex operates 12 storage terminals throughout Australia, complemented
by access to product supply at a further 12 terminals. These 24 terminals are
in key locations around Australia.
Caltex delivers product to customers via its own truck fleet and the fleets of
approved and accredited third-party contractors.
Expanding and upgrading infrastructure capability has been a key strategy
for Caltex with significant work being undertaken to strengthen the Caltex
supply chain in vital growth areas. Projects such as the two additional diesel
tanks in Mackay and Gladstone in Queensland and the major expansion of
the fuel terminal at Port Hedland in Western Australia, will allow Caltex to
add much-needed supply capability to provide diesel fuel to the growing
resource industry. These projects are part of Caltex’s overall infrastructure
improvement program and ongoing commitment to the Australian market.
In addition to these projects, Caltex also undertook a number of terminal
upgrades to enable the significant rollout.
With two of Australia’s seven refineries, two large capacity coastal product
tankers and significant and growing terminal capacity, Caltex has a high-
quality and capable supply chain in Australia. It is the strength of this
infrastructure that provides customers with convenient, safe and reliable
supply and makes Caltex a supplier of choice.

Caltex markets a range of lubricants, specialty products, fuels and fuel cards
for the Australian market.
Lubricants: Delo diesel engine oils, Havoline petrol engine oils, HDAX
gas engine oils, Meropa gear oils, Rando hydraulic oils, Regal turbine oils,
Taro marine oils, plus a full range of products covering the automotive,
commercial, marine and industrial markets.

Atmospheric protection coatings
Carboline’s range of atmospheric protection coatings includes: Carbozinc,

Carboline manufactures high-temperature coatings, offering a range of
heat-resistant primers and finishes for continuous exposure from ambient
to 1,200°F. This product range includes Thermaline (under insulation, high

Carboline manufactures a wide variety of high-performance, chemically
resistant products that are suitable for light to extreme heavy-duty
applications for concrete protection in abusive environments. This range of
secondary containment coatings includes Carboline’s Semstone concrete
systems, which are engineered systems with broad chemical resistance.
Carboline’s range of fireproofing coatings includes Pyrolite, Pyrocrete,
Thermo-Lag and Thermo-Sorb. Thermo-Lag (intumescent fireproofing), a
solvent-based, single-component thin coating, is applied by normal airless
spray to give up to 2 hours of fire protection on all types of steel sections. It
is suitable for internal and external steelwork.
